III. We intend to continue our cooperation (started in 1996) in studying
combinatorial compactness theory which goes back to Birkhoff's theorem
on doubly stochastic matrices. The notion of combinatorial compactness
enables us to state analogs of Birkhoff's theorem for graphs, cellular
algebras and permutation groups. The technique of the theory can be
used for constructing polynomial-time algorithms testing isomorphism
for some classes of graphs.

IV. Desired duration 30 days in the period from May 15, 1998 to June 14, 1998.
