Abstract:
The scaling limits in the third Painlev\'e transcendent are considered from
the point of view of the associated with P3 linear equation. The discriminant
set for the scaling limits with the reductions of the third
Painlev\'e equation to the second Painlev\'e equation and one-parametric
reductions to the first Painlev\'e equation are described.
