Boris Kruglikov. "Existence of close pseudoholomorphic disks for almost complex manifolds and an application to Kobayashi-Royden pseudonorm". Functional Analysis and its Applications, v.33, no.1, 46--58 (1999). It is proved in the paper that near every pseudoholomorphic disk in an almost complex manifold a disk of almost the same size in any close direction passes. Similarly in almost complex 1-jet space this statement is equivalent to the existence of close holonomic pseudoholomorphic disk through any point of a small neighborhood of the initial holonomic disk. As an application the Kobayashi-Royden pseudonorm for almost complex manifolds is defined and it is proved that this norm is upper semicontinuos, implying the coincidence result: the integration of the Royden pseudonorm gives the Kobayashi pseudodistance.
