St.Petersburg Seminar on Computer Algebra

This term we expect to deliver seminars every week.
It takes place in Steklov Institute of Mathematics at St.Petersburg (PDMI) on Thursdays 16.00 - 17.30, room 318.

The scope:

St.Petersburg Seminar on Computer Algebra will bring together all the people interested in computer algebra and/or using computer algebra systems (cas). The principal aim is to provide contacts of cas users for exchanging the experience. It should attract attention to existing software and supply knowledge about it. We will consider the features of using different computer algebra systems ( GAP, MuPAD, Maple, Mathematica, etc.). We plan also to discuss current investigations and research problems in the area.

At present the seminar consists of collaborators of PDMI and St.Petersburg State University (SPbSU) and students. Thus, we invite persons from other St.Petersburg organizations to join us. Specialists from other cities as well as abroad are welcome to give a talk or userful comments. Just send E-mail to contact persons.
