BRIEF PRACTICAL INFORMATION:
Registration
If you plan to participate
please register
using the registration form.
It will take you less than a minute and will help
the organisers make appropriate arrangements.
Finances
The organisers are applying for several sources of funding,
but the outcome will only be known in late spring.
The participants are advised to make their plans based
on the assumption that no financial support will be
offered. Most likely, a small fee will be collected
to cover the cost of coffee breaks etc.
Accommodation
The Euler Institute staff will be happy to book accommodation
for the participants, but early booking is essential.
Accommodation is
usually booked in
Andersen hotel a short walking
distance from the institute.
The price for a double room is approximately 3200 RUB
per night. There are also some slightly cheaper
options: hotels
Nord
or Zlatoust.
There is also a hostel type budget accommodation
(hotel "Nauka")
where prices for a basic room are from 1400 RUB per night.

Visas
Nationals of most countries (including the EU countries and the U.S.)
require visas in order to travel to Russia.
The Euler Institute staff
will be happy to assist you with visa arrangements. See

The conference
The conference will take place at the
Euler Institute
which is located in St.Petersburg city centre, see the
map and address.
ENGLISH is the official language of the conference.
Please note that 12 July is
the first day of the conference,
not the arrival day.
Travel
The most practical way of getting to St.Petersburg is
flying to the St.Petersburg airport Pulkovo.
Currency
The Russian currency is Ruble (RUB).
