Stochastic processes and high dimensional probability distributions

June 16 - 20, 2014

Euler International Mathematical Institute, Saint-Petersburg, Russia

This conference will be held at the Euler International Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Saint Petersburg, Russia, on June 16-20, 2014 (http://www.pdmi.ras.ru/EIMI/).
The conference is intended to tribute the influential, lifelong research of Vladimir Nikolayevich Sudakov.

The conference will focus on several closely related directions in Probability Theory and Analysis including:
Geometric problems about Gaussian and other linear stochastic processes;
Typical distributions, measure concentration and high dimensional phenomena;
Optimal transportation and associated Sobolev-type and information-theoretic inequalities.

The conference is supported by:

The Euler Mathematical Institute
The Chebyshev Laboratory
The National Science Foundation (NSF)
Dynasty Foundation
Russian Foundation for Basic Research
