The international conference "Wavelets and Applications" will be held at the Euler International Mathematical Institute.

We definitely hope that the time spent at the conference will be not only useful for scientific exchanges, but also pleasant due to the historical places and cultural treasures of St. Petersburg in the most impressing time of a year - midnight sun.

The main subject of the conference is wavelets, frames and related topics in approximation theory and functional analysis. In particular, the following topics will be discussed:

  • wavelet bases and frames;
  • multiresolution and wavelet methods;
  • signal analysis and processing;
  • related topics in approximation theory and functional analysis

    The conference is organized by St. Petersburg branch of Steklov Mathematical Institute, St. Petersburg State University and Voronezh State University. The program includes plenary 60- and 45-minutes lectures, 45- and 20-minutes sectional presentation and posters.
