Dear Colleagues and Friends!

8th of May, 2010 is the 70th anniversary of V. V. Zhuk, one of the leading specialists in approximation theory.

To mark this date St. Petersburg branch of Steklov Mathematical Institute and St. Petersburg State University carry out International Workshop “APPROXIMATION THEORY”, May 6 - 8, 2010, St. Petersburg, Russia. The workshop will be held at the Euler International Mathematical Institute.

The program includes 30- and 15-minutes talks and posters.

A cultural program is supposed to be held after closing the workshop, on May 9.
