EIMI

Riemann surfaces and Teichmuller theory

July 8-12, 2019

Euler International Mathematical Institute, St. Petersburg, Russia

The conference is on geometry, with a particular emphasis on the recent developments on Riemann surfaces and Teichmuller spaces with their ramifications, including the metric theory of Teichmuller space, higher Teichmuller theory and representations of surface groups, infinite-dimensional Teichmuller spaces, Kleinian groups, mapping class groups and related groups, and the interactions with theoretical physics and with other fields. There will be some talks on other aspects of the geometry of surfaces and 3-manifolds. There will also be expository talks. PhD students and young researchers are welcome
