Special Announcement - Coronavirus

The long-term prognosis for the coronavirus epidemic is still very unclear, with the evolution of the disease and the vaccine response currently highly unpredictable. As a consequence, the Local Organizing Committee, in consultation with the International Steering Committee of IMSE, has decided that, to safeguard the participants' health and to maintain the successful tradition of these meetings being held in-person and not online, the conference be postponed until next year. At the moment, the new tentative dates are 25 - 29 July 2022, to be confirmed later, and the venue in St.Petersburg remains the same.

We should mention that the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) will also be held in St Petersburg, 6-14 July 2022.

We sincerely hope that we will be able to meet together in 2022, in much better and safer circumstances than the current ones.

Best wishes,
Local Organizing Committee of IMSE 2022
International Steering Committee of IMSE

IMSE 2022 will provide an international forum for communicating recent advances in research work that promotes the link between mathematics and the applied sciences and engineering. Thus, the scope of the conference addresses both academic and industrial interests. Participation is open to all scientists and engineers whose work makes use of analytic and numerical methods, integral equations, ordinary and partial differential equations, asymptotic and perturbation methods, boundary integral techniques, conservation laws, hybrid approaches, vortex methods, signal processing and image analysis.

The official language of the conference is English.
