SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

The annual meeting organized by St.Petersburg Department of Steklov Institute of Mathematics and by Department of Mathematical Analysis of the Mathematics and Mechanics Faculty of St.Petersburg State University, will be held from June 25 till June 30, 2007 at the Euler International Mathematical Institute (St.Petersburg, Pesochnaya naberezhnaya, 10). This year our meetinig is a satellite conference (see http://www.pdmi.ras.ru/EIMI/imiplanC.html) to the Congress dedicated to the 300th Anniversary of Leonhard Euler's Birth, http://www.pdmi.ras.ru/EIMI/2007/Euler300/

If you want to participate, we ask you to fill in the registration form. If you want to present a talk, please send us the title and a short (not longer than 1/2 page) abstract. (THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED AND FULFILLED THE REQUIEREMENTS DESCRIBED IN THE NEXT PARAGRAPH NEED NOT REPEAT THE PROCEDURES).

IF YOU NEED A RUSSIAN VISA, we ask you to fill in the visa form. The Institute will provide you with an invitation needed for visa formalities. Such an invitation will be authorized by a governmental department and will imply obtaining a visa nearly automatically. The processing costs of 25 Euro per person will be added to the registration fee (see below). If, besides the invitation described above, you need also one for the administration of your institution, please, contact the Euler Institute programme coordinator

Accommodation will be arranged at nearby hotels (we'll do our best to arrange it for reasonably low price). A very cheap accommodation in a student hostel may also be possible.

If you have some special accommodation requests (say, you prefer a downtown hotel, or you come with accompanying persons, etc.), you are invited to contact Mrs. Elena Novikova.

Transport information will be given in the third announcement. Please, inform Mrs. Novikova about the mean of transportation and arrival time as soon as this is available.

Registration fee: NONE for the participants working in CIS-countries; otherwise, it is 40 Euro (plus 25 Euro in case we provide an official invitation needed for visa formalities). Accompanying persons: 25 Euro per person in case we provide an official invitation needed for visa formalities.
