Initial Submission Specification

Deadline for receipt of extended abstracts for blind review is the 7 October 2009.

Authors' Guidelines

Extended abstract should conform to the following requirements:

  • At least two (2), maximum five (5) pages in length, including data/tables/figures/references.
  • Anonymous; do not identify the author via self-reference.
  • The first page should include a short 10 lines summary clearly indicating subject matter and conclusions of the entire work.
  • A4 or letter size paper, 12 pt font, single-spaced, 2.5 cm / 1 inch margins.
  • Submission should be prepared with no headers/footers and no page numbers.
  • PDF file format, with all fonts embedded.

Submit your extended abstract as e-mail attachment. In the body of the message include the paper title and the authors' names and affiliations, as well as the e-mail address for the corresponding author. Please name the submission file in the format: "authorname_submissiondate.pdf". Address for submission: PhML_2009@pdmi.ras.ru.

Submissions will be reviewed by an international committee. In selection of papers for presentation, there will be no quotas based on discipline.

Final Submission Specification

Please submit your final camera-ready version no later than November 1. For papers to be included in the conference Proceedings, all the authors must register by November 1; but only the authors who are present must pay the registration fee upon arrival. Please follow the instructions below.

Authors' Guidelines

Camera-ready copy should conform to the following requirements:

  • At least two (2), maximum seven (7) pages in length, including data/tables/figures/references.
  • A4 size paper (210 x 297 mm), the text in 12 point Times Roman (or New Times Roman) font, single-spaced, 2.5 cm margins on all sides. The first line of each paragraph (beside the first paragraph) is indented by 6 spaces. Leave one line space between each paragraph.
  • The title of the paper should be in Times Roman (or New Times Roman) 16 pt bold, Initial letter of the first word in Capital, centered, single spacing between each line, 3 lines down from top.
  • The author's name (with first name initials or full names) should appear two line space below the title, in 12 pt bold centered, with the affiliation and address in 12 pt regular one line space below the name and also centered. Where there are multiple authors, leave one line space between each one.
  • The first page should include an Abstract in 10 lines clearly outlining the contribution of the paper. It should be typed in 11 pt on full width of text and having its title bold 11 pt, aligned against the left-hand margin of page, and will not contain references to other literature. The text of the first section should appear two line space below the abstract.
  • The section headings (e.g. Introduction, etc.) are in 14 pt bold, aligned against the left-hand margin of the page.
  • The sub-section headings are in 12 pt bold, aligned against the left-hand margin of page.
  • Submission should be prepared with no headers/footers and no page numbers.
  • The references should be prepared Grosso modo like in the the paper_sample.pdf.
  • Footnotes should appear in the bottom of page.
  • File should be in Adobe.pdf format, with all fonts embedded.
